Grace Silva Cabaniss
November 17, 1931 - March 26, 2016
Savannah- Grace Silva Cabaniss, 84, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Azalealand Nursing Home.
Grace was born in Savannah, November 17, 1931 to James and Agnes Silva. She was a 1952 graduate of Armstrong College and worked for ten years with Liberty National Bank. She was a long-time member of White Bluff United Methodist Church where she volunteered in the office for sixteen years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert S. Cabaniss, Jr. and sister-in-law, Ginny Silva. Grace was a devoted wife to her husband and caring sister to her brother Jimmy.
Surviving are her brother, James (Jimmy) Silva, Jr. of Savannah; niece, Nancy H. Crovatt of Decatur, GA; nephew, Gerald Henderson of Thunderbolt, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
